We found that Bally's was one of the nicer casino's on the strip with very easy access in and out of the casino. We have not booked and rooms at this point so we can't comment on the accommodations.
One of the things that I noticed immediately was that there was no "Time Share" sales people trying to con you into a 90 min. presentation. That was a huge improvement over most hotels we visited.
Donn Arden's Jubilee!
Our primary reason for visiting Bally's was to take the Jubilee! Backstage tour and to see "Jubilee!". So far, we have seen both twice. "Yes, it is that good" and by Las Vegas standards, it is exceptional entertainment at a very reasonable price. After taking the Backstage Tour, I can certainly understand why the show has lasted as long as it has. It is a first class production and by taking the Jubilee's Backstage Tour, you really get the feel of how much the dancers, other performers, stage hands, etc. truly enjoy what they do. From the costumes to the props, everything is done with absolute perfection to the smallest detail.

If you plan on seeing the showWe highly recommend the Exclusive Backstage Tour of Donn Ardens Jubilee!. It is a walking tour that takes about 1 hour and is real bargain in Las Vegas (around 10~15 dollars per person). You will learn how they change costumes and sets so quickly and what it takes to make a show with this kind of attention to detail, run so smoothly night after night.

Your tour guide will more than likely be one of the many performers of Jubilee! He or She will describe the challenges of being on stage, such as dealing with many of the time constraints of working in a live show. The tour takes you through a variety of dressing rooms, costume repair and fabrication plus many wardrobe storage areas.
If you like large mechanical gadgets, you are in for a real treat. You will see an elaborate elevator system that moves props into position as large as a miniature replica of the "Titanic" from one floor to the next in a matter of minutes.
The performers are nothing short of being "Olympic Athletes". They do up to 10 costume changes per show, while running up and down stairs with headgear weighting up to 35 pounds.
Try to imagine running off stage in high heels, down a long flight of stairs, quickly change costumes and head gear then run back upstairs for the next sceen in "less than 3 minutes". All of that and you have to dodge other performers doing the same thing. It really is something that you have to see to appreciate.
